The Prayer
Compassionate Father, the Great Physician of my body and soul, I come to You in this season of affliction seeking Your healing touch. You know every pain I endure and every fear that keeps me awake. I ask that You would pour out Your restorative power upon me. If it is Your will, Lord, mend what is broken, cure what is diseased, and restore my strength so that I may continue to serve You with vitality. Yet, even in my suffering, grant me the grace to trust Your sovereign plan. Comfort me with the deep assurance of Your presence, so that my spirit may find rest even if my body is weak. Heal my emotional wounds and grant me a peace that surpasses understanding. Use this time of weakness to draw me closer to Christ, who sympathizes with my infirmities.
