Editorial Policy
Our commitment to theological accuracy, exegetical integrity, and pastoral care.
At BibleApply, our content is written and reviewed to adhere to strict standards. We believe that correctly handling the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15) is our highest responsibility.
Theological Grounding
All articles, verse meanings, and answers are grounded in historic, orthodox Christian theology. We hold to the divine inspiration and authority of the Bible. We do not promote fringe theological views or modern fads, but rely on the time-tested truths of the Christian faith.
Exegetical Integrity
We strive to explain verses in their proper historical, cultural, and literary context. We actively avoid "proof-texting" (taking verses out of context to support a pre-determined point). We examine the original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek words when they illuminate the true meaning of a passage.
Addressing Misuse
When a verse is commonly misused in modern culture (such as through the prosperity gospel, or taken out of context on social media), we believe it is our editorial duty to gently but firmly correct those misunderstandings and point readers back to the biblical truth.
Pastoral Sensitivity
Theology without love is just noise. We address hard topics—like grief, depression, and suffering—with deep compassion. We write for real people facing real pain, distinguishing between spiritual struggles and medical conditions where appropriate.
